Best Ableton Tutorial

Post by dominicw78 » Wed Oct 10, 2007 12:39 pm

Hi there,

I'm a new ableton user and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good extensive tutorial for ableton.

It's great reading all the tips and tricks in this forum but it takes time to sift through all the threads.

I've seen a few different tutorials out there just wondering if people have opinions which is best.

I can work all the basic stuff out for myself it's more an intermediate to advanced tutorial I'm after, the kind of stuff that you may not think of when you start out.

I'm going to be using live for both producing anf performing.

There are a lot of good ones on You Tube also. I just recently learned about sidechain compression and it has really made a difference in my productions. There is a good one on there that also gives you a link to a free sidechain compressor VSTi.

sorry for the blatant self promotion but I'm currently working on a Live 7 tips and tricks tutorial video series for www.grooveboxmusic.com, starting with "what's new in Live 7" then getting more general - the first of them should be online in around a month
