I cant seem to get the shortcut trick to work. I created a folder in Program Files called All VST Plugins and dropped the shortcuts to the all my VST plugins on my PC in that folder and then set the directory path in Ableton . Then I tried to scan the folder for plugins and it came back with nothing ...

So you are saying that the full download of 8.1.4 does not contain all the content that came with the Suite 8 discs?

My internal drive in my iMac24 failed and I replaced it today. I need to reinstall Live Suite 8. With this latest update (including content) for 8.1.4 should I just download and install that or do I need to first install the app and the original content from my discs first and then install this ...

I was using VST. It's much better since I switched over to AU at the recommendation of IK MM.

This combo, for me, crashes every time I try to use them. It's too bad because both programs are some awesome, just not together. Anyone know if this is being updated?

Furthermore, my Drum Racks are basically empty except for 1 sample. Seems very odd to me. Do I need to reinstall or is there an easier solution?

For some reason, I am missing my default Live Library files such as those found in the Clips>Drums>Acoustic folder.(Acoustic folder is actually gone) Any idea where they would have gone? I do not remember ever deleting or uninstalling them.

Yes I have done this already. It works pretty well except for the fact that the rack position indicator has no effect on the LP when scrolling as it does with any other midi controller like the PadKontrol or the Trigger finger. When the box is moved in Live the notes on the controller actually shift ...

Anyone know how to setup the Launchpad to use with Drum Racks in Live like a PadKontrol would work? I would imagine this would be something to setup on either User1 or User2 but I have no idea how to change the midi notes on the Launchpad to align with the the Drum Rack. Any suggestions?

Just set my stuff up yesterday. I have already recorded a number of pieces with my equipment. I'm loving it. At this poiint, I would like to get a bit deeper into the program and I have some higher level questions that are blocking me from progressing.
