I like my padkontrol quite a bit, the pads feel great to me, and the x-y is great. Using korg's software is a bit of a pain though.

I have demo'ed a trigger finger in my setup but went with the Korg, simply because of the feel.

Go to your nearest music store and touch/feel 'em both.

I'm having the same issue - multicore support is greyed out in Live 7.

I AM able to select it and enable it in my version of Live 6, however not in Live 7.

I have tried reboots, complete fresh re-installs of Live, etc... and still no luck.

Anyone manage to solve this?

I've experienced this problem as well and isolated it to the filename length (in characters) as well. However, what is interesting is that it only affects MP3s (both constant and VBR) above 192k.

Up to 192kbps encoding, you can have a 200+ character file name, however, you can only have a 59 ...

go out and just starting meeting and talking with some DJs... get to be at least acquaintances with some of them, and then send them a few sample mixes sometime... then with enough persistance somebody might have you do the opening set for them sometime, and then it all goes from there....

Under input i have:

USB- sounddevice

USB- sounddevice [3]

Under output i only have:

USB- sounddevice
USB- sounddevice [2]

(not 3)




This usually happens when the KORG USB driver isn't installed properly (mine used to have the same problem!!). Are you in windows? If so ...
