Re: Reverb cracking?
Sounds like the reverb is taking to much processor time. Check your audio buffer size, Options > Preferences > Audio. When using ASIO (which is always preferable) you can increase the buffer size in the soundcard's asio driver settings.

Re: Open all VSTs within Live Set?
Seems to me you're making it far too difficult. Why open the plugin itself, when you can tweak it's knobs via the Instrument Rack Macros? And what's the use of cluttering your screen with all the vst's? (just curious)

Did you arm the track for recording?

Re: Open all VSTs within Live Set?
You'd better put your VST's in an instrument rack, with the most important VST-controls mapped to its knobs. That works even faster, I think.

Re: Fabfilter Pro-Q in Live 8 - slow graphics
@Quantize: I'll wait for the official 8.1.4 update then. Too many projects at the moment, so no time to verify. Thanks for your help!

Re: Fabfilter Pro-Q in Live 8 - slow graphics
Nobody has any clues, perhaps on what I could check/try on my system?

Fabfilter Pro-Q in Live 8 - slow graphics
Just tried the demo of Fabfilter's Pro-Q (v1.03). Love the sound, but... in Live8 the graphics seems to have a problem. When dragging the graph, it only moves visibly after about 0.5 to 1 seconds. It's like it hesitates! This behaviour makes finding the right frequency quite.. erm.. 'interesting'. I...

Re: Poll: Live 8.1.3 ready for release.
Every time a new beta release comes out, the forums are flooding with bugreports and unsatisfied users. However, I've never had such a problem. Almost all beta's and surely every release worked fine and transition is always smooth. If I ever had an instable system, I could -nearly- always bring it d...

Re: Sixth beta of upcoming bugfix update! Live 8.1.2b6!
@mr adl: Ableton acknowledged already that it's their fault (for the Fabfilter plugins, that is). See http://www.fabfilter.com/topic.php?topic=1032#comment0

Re: Quality
And please Ableton, also look into the issues with 3rd party plugins. There are quite a few plugins that work well in other DAW's and faulty in Ableton Live.
The FabFilter plugins, for instance? NI Battery? Lots of goodwill to gain there!

Clips (midi & audio):
a true "double clip" function, mostly like "duplicate" but after this action the clip should have double length. E.g. make a one bar clip, double it three times to create an 8-bar clip, make some changes in the last bar, done.

Ambience. Available for a while now, but considering the costs: very impressive.

Set loop brace to the start position after duplicating?
After duplicating a loop (clip in session view), I always need to set the left loop brace manually to 1.1.1. I'd like the complete loop to play, that's why I duplicated it in the first place...
Is there a quicker way to do this, or a way to "duplicate but keep the left brace on 1.1.1"?
Thanks,
Jan
