The last time I used Ableton was at the start of v 11. Just want to find out whether by now Ableton has the ability to link midi clips at different spots in a track and across tracks? Meaning, If I edit one, the other changes as well.

I've tried, they have no response. I'm not supporting them again!

I bought a sample pack with an Ableton template inside but the plugins use AU instruments (Sylenth1, DUNE). Is there a way to re-assign them to the VSTs on Windows and retain the settings they contain?

After installing new VSTs, the plugin scanner just scans and scans and doesn't find anything new. Both VST 2 and VST 3 64bit

Each time I open settings and go to the Plugins tab, the scanner is stuck in the scanning mode. Which files can I delete to reset this behaviour?

if you did a backup of ableton incl. options.txt before, yes. wiping windows will not help. please check it


I never do any backups of any software when reinstalling Windows. The whole idea is to clear EVERYTHING to a blank. I reinstall Ableton fresh everytime... I keep nothing from previous ...

Just want to know if anyone else is having issues with blurry VSTs on large UHD screens?

Tech Support is unable to solve this because they claim it's Windows and NOT Ableton. I've tried demos of Cubase and FL Studio and they both show the VSTs perfectly on my display.

Any Ideas?

I've had this issue for months now and not a single update fixes this. Can't imagine no one else has reported this...

When I right click a midi clip and split it, it doesn't split on the line. After selecting the split-point, it splits to the side of the line of which you right click ...

My Arturia Keylab 88 doesn't even boot up and "support" has no response!

Where can I get hold of version 11.0.5/6?

Since the 11.0.10 beta, my Arturia Keylab 88 is not booting up when Live is open. Support has NO intention of fixing this because they don't respond to any of my support tickets on this issue!

This issue is still in the latest "stable" release.

Can someone please help me set up file/folder permissions so that Ableton cannot create the BACKUP folder. My online storage is swamped with this backup crap. I just want to keep the project files. It's driving me insane!
