This is the case for me on 2 drum tracks from an old track I recorded over a year ago. I just came back from the apple store where a guy who does not know ableton fiddled with it for a while and got one of the tracks to play! When I asked him what he did, he was unable to show me.
I submitted a ...

Re: audio effect that makes an octive sweep
Just a drawn note inside the midi note editor.
I am using Live 11 Beta, but honestly I am too much of a newb to know the difference..
I am using Wavetable to get the bass sound I want.

Re: audio effect that makes an octive sweep
Than you for the reply!
I guess the answer is no since I have spent the last 1/2 hour trying to find something that would show me of what you speak, and have not found a thing.
I found something about the E icon for envelope. I create a track and do not see the icon at the bottom of the clip window ...

audio effect that makes an octive sweep
Hey folks,
I am creating a bass track, and I want it to sweep down an octave over the course of eight beats. I thought this would be easy but no.
Can someone tell me the device and maybe some cursory guidance???
Thanks!

Moving a project from Session to Arrangement view
I am watching a tutorial about how to do this and it look like the teacher is saying you need to rerecord the song. Thats not the weird part though. While demonstrating how to do that we were unable to hear the song as it was recording so he was counting the Intro, Verse, Chorus and clicking on the ...

Re: Sustain of note question from a newb
I found that Legato and Staccato can be loaded as different instruments. It seems like a long way to go for desired effect from the orchestra strings.

Sustain of note question from a newb
Hi there,
Complete newb here. Just got the Live 10 Suite and Push 2.
Im installing and trying the different packs. All good! Love it.
When I play string instruments (and others) I would like the note to sustain as long as I am touching the pad.
How is this done?
Thanks and regards,
Spencer
