Unless I'm missing this, I can't find the System Requirements for Live 10 listed anywhere, esp if it will be Win 7x64 Compatible. It isn't mentioned on https://www.ableton.com/en/live/ for example ...

It was an out of memory problem on Live x32. Switching up to x64 solved problem completely.

Found an interesting way to convert a sung note into a chord, which is really what I want to do, using Live's Vocoder, feeding in the vocal and using a played polyphonic instrument as a carrier (or is it the other way round), but it works pretty well in terms of what I was after.

There were a few VST related issues in 9.7.2, Live rescanned my entire collection, and knocked Arturia Analog Lab 2 out, so that needed reinstalling, but everything else OK so far.

4 years ago ... shoot coulda saved me a few headaches! Still, better late than never.

I should read the Changelog more carefully in future. Works now, which is the main thing.

Just realised that one of my main bugbears with Live has been sorted. MIDi devices can now be plugged in during a Live session.I only found this out because my Novation LaunchControl driver kept crashing during a set, and I thought "let's just disconnect and reconnect it" and lo and behold...

Yes, 9.7.2 took out my entire Arturia V Collection 5 database after rescanning the VST catalog. Had to reinstall all the Arturia software but seems OK now.

Strange ... "All Results" was initially missing from the Browser in 9.7.1, but after searching for something, it appeared. Most definitely wasn't there to begin with. I think it was missing the last time too. I just chekced and it's not listed as fixed in 9.7.2b1
