Just wanted to drop a line here as well.
I found out that if "Loop" was enabled within the arrangement window, even though nothing was being used there, it would retrigger my 8 bar notes every 2 bars.
Turn off the loop function near the top and it might help out. I was losing it for 2 days trying ...
