I appreciate lots of genres, but my only critisism of "Trance" music is calling it "Trance." As if no other type of music or sound has the ability to educe altered states of consciousness . . .

There is a workaround for this however. If you have a controller that can have multiple zones assigned to a single controller, just have the control send different midi cc's depending on what zone you have selected. Essentially with the touch of a button you can choose to have pad 1 send cc 27 or cc ...

Well c'mon now...DJing is really a completely different monster than a live P.A. Of course Trance is not turntablism...it's about playing to the crowd. If the crowd is really really diggin on a tune, you let them have it for a bit. And I'm sure he was exaggerating about 8 minutes.

I had a similar problem with my Ozonic and then I decided to teach myself Midi CC and I also read the manual. =P

That and also an M-Audio tech is a friend of mine and gave it to me short and sweet.
