Hi everyone,

I am trying to automate the macros of an effect rack I have on a Group track using clip envelopes.
I came across this workaround in the forum (https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?t=225928), but it is a bit cumbersome and given it's nearly 3 years old I just wanted to make sure ...

I've tried to record a pitch bend automation in the arrangement mode using Push but this won't work.

The only way I got it to work is to record a long clip in the session mode.

Am I missing something or is it the only way to do?
