I am experiencing the same issue with Push 2. It is not dependent on Fixed Length.

custom command sequences
hey guys,
is it possible to write custom command sequences (known as macros elsewhere) like:
change to session x
turn down volume of track z to y
start recording on track i
and then map this whole sequence to a midi key or whatever?
would be awesome to have access to the whole redo/undo stack ...
