hey guys,
is it possible to write custom command sequences (known as macros elsewhere) like:
change to session x
turn down volume of track z to y
start recording on track i
and then map this whole sequence to a midi key or whatever?
would be awesome to have access to the whole redo/undo stack with all actions too
for example an extra window with all actions and time travel possibility
is someone out there who knows reduxJS?
i do not have a clue how live is programmed but this would be awesome
for example:
sometimes when i want to undo things, its not obvious how many steps i need to go back etc.
are there some solutions out there (or apis, you cant do it with max live, can you?)?
greetz,
love the forum by the way

Re: custom command sequences
Hiya, have you checked out Keyboard Maestro? I stumbled across it last week but it's great at macros, not just in Ableton but any program. I'm only dipping my toe in its waters but already have managed to automate a few things.

You can probably do some of these things in Max4Live. Keyboard Maestro on the Mac, AutoHotKey on the PC. Or a programmable keyboard or keypad.
