I am close to rendering down my first track and am a little confused about how live does this.

My track uses samples at 16bit 44.1Khz and so am wondering if there is any benefit of rendering the mix at 24bit/96Khz.

I have cut up pieces of an audio loop i have sampled from a song and then warped with markers.

I have then dropped them into into impulse to create new rhythms but now they are in impulse they wont play in sync with the master tempo.

I'm in the middle of making my first track with ableton it does not have many tracks running simalteneously (maximum 8 or 9 tracks) but with a fairly large number of effects. i have also frozen a couple of tracks. But when CPU hits around 65% the audio slows, stutters and goes crazy.
