Count me in for this feature. I use the "Edit Info Text" feature to enter more detailed information about the track, however a wrapping option for the track name would be most useful (5 or 6 lines times 15 chars would be a great field).

Re: Mono to Stereo - I mean it! Not the basic thing.
Tried this and that...
Multibender is probably the best... but not in the free version.
Quick Haas is quick, but limited
Vocal Doubler does not work for the kind of tracks I have
Wider is very good, especially being able to control the pre-filtering of low frequencies.
Best for me is Imager 2 ...

Re: Mono to Stereo - I mean it! Not the basic thing.
@jur
Thanks, it is on my list now. I will try a few of them (free to test or free) and choose the one that fits my taste.
Here they are: Izotope Imager 2, izotope Vocal Doubler, multibender (W.A. Production) QuickHaas 1.0.0 and now wider.
I would have loved Multiband Haas Effect from blue Mangoo ...

Re: Mono to Stereo - I mean it! Not the basic thing.
Merci ValliumDuPeuple,
This is brilliant! I don't have Max for Live (I own Live Standard) but will search for a VST plugin.
In the worst case, I can do with quadruplicate (?) the track and filter each so as to recreate the configuration you suggested.
Thanks a lot.
S.

Mono to Stereo - I mean it! Not the basic thing.
Two years ago, I was even more a beginner than now. I recorded a stereo track from a mono audio - Ableton created two tracks with the same content, as per the manual.
Now, I find my track a little bit dull ; and I won't/can't record it again.
So... are there some tricks that will allow me to use ...

Re: Deleting .als files
@cids : Reading it (again), I see this needs to open a set (a .als). It does not solve the question of files used by >deleted< .als files that, by definition of "deleted", can't be loaded. Or am I misreading/misunderstanding.

Re: Deleting .als files
@fishmonkey: thanks it helps for future projects. For existing projects, can I use safely these steps:
1- open the A-v100.als
2- Collect all and save
3- Remove the old .als files
4- How then to remove the unused files (those referenced by the deleted .als files ?

Deleting .als files
Standard disclaimer : looked in the doc, google it. Still need a simple answer.
I have many obsolete .als files. Typically, I start a project, save it in a file named for example A-v0.als. Every week or so, I "save as" the project as a new file, say A-v093.als. Finally, the project is completed, so ...

Got it! Re: Help needed! Mono track, panning, volume.
The problem is... with the headphone. It is a Marshall Major III Black - very good quality for a low price, BUT, it has a 4 pole audio mini jack and comes with an adapter. I lost the adapter (probably somewhere with the rest of them), and used a generic one instead. Hence a strange behaviour.

Help needed! Mono track, panning, volume.
[Don't shoot me, I am a newbie].
So... I have recorded a mono track "Ext. in, Input channel 1, Auto, Output to Master" no effect. Master outputs to 1/2.
The recording was of a mono synth through a focusrite inst input. I am monitoring the output using a headphone on the focusrite, and monitoring ...
