Enable Returns sends on the computer, save this as a Set and send this Set to Push. Even better, save this setting as part of your Push default Set.
(I didn't try it, but it should work in theory)

If I have a tricky edit, I group the affected tracks, make the edit and then un group. Not ideal but it works great.

I'm not sure I follow. How does grouping make this process more efficient for manipulating (especially deleting) time?

Just chiming into this thread to echo that a "Delete time" for individual tracks would be a real time saver for a lot of the work I do (1-stop shop dialogue editing, sound design, and music service for podcasts and other audio recordings).

when you say working with audio you mean an audio file? if so in this case you dont arm the audio track (meaning no input on track )and then press record and automate the midi. You dont necessarily need midi arrangement overdub on using this particular process.
