Push 3S won't send MIDI

Hi there,

I did a quick search but could not find anything on this.

I'm having difficulty getting my Push Standalone to send MIDI over USB (in standalone mode). I am trying to use it control a desktop version (keyless) of an UDO Super 6 synth.

Normally the synth is hooked up to my computer via USB and I use the External Instrument device to control it without any problems. I can use my Push 2 to do this or my Novation Launchkey49 without any issues. I only say this to help rule out the problems being on the side of the Super 6.

When I make a similar connection over USB between my Push 3 Standalone (in standalone mode) however, no signal seems to be received by the Super 6. I've also tried other synths (Moog Sub 37, Nord Stage 2) with the External Instrument device (on Push 3) and the correct MIDI channels selected and Push 3S' Midi Output set to [X] Track [X] Sync and [X] Remote. I see the blue arrow appear on the top right of my Push 3S light up whenever I press a pad, but the LED indicators on my Super 6, Nord Stage 2 and Sub 37 do not seem to light up, meaning no MIDI data is being received. I have tried the same using the 3.5mm MIDI output, but the result is the same. Is there any chance that my (still very new) Push has some sort of issue sending MIDI?

Has anyone else tried this or had similar issues? I will open a ticket as well, but was wondering if the forums might be quicker (I have an open ticket for other issues related to this Push and response time is currently several days).

Make sure to first activate your midi outs in the Preferences/Settings menu.

I appreciate your attempt to help, but as mentioned in my post, my midi outs already were activated.

For anyone who is reading this thread and having the same issue, I rebooted my synths and Push 3 several times (without changing settings) and it eventually just works. Must have been some sort of glitch.
