ableton 11 with standard looper plugin.

when i'm using a hadrware looper or loopy pro, I can Stop, then when I start, it starts at the beginning of the loop pattern. i'll be doing this with at least 2 loops running.

how can I emulate this in ableton? if I press ableton's stop button, it will just ...

in Ableton 11, I'm live looping and using the standard looper to set the tempo. I'm doing this via a foot controller.

it's possible to manually drag the loop out of the looper and into audio strip1, clip 1, then clear the looper.

how could I do this via a script or some kind of automation? I ...

I have the looper plugin mapped to a midi commander... 1=record, 2=stop, 3=clear

1. record a loop in (a simple drum beat)
a. press record again to end the loop and begin playback.
2. stop the loop.
a. press stop
b. press clear
3. stop the project and return it to 1. 1. 1.

using ableton lite, how can I
* record track 1 without a click
* have ableton figure out my tempo and use for the project and other tracks?

I'm used to hardware loopers... I play in the drumbeat then record the rest of the tracks.

How can I set ableton to use the Mainstage sounds by either or both of the below options?

option 1: ableton using mainstage/logic sounds via midi.

option 2: routing the mainstage audio output through into ableton clips?

I want to use ableton live in a similar fashion to a hardware looper. (using Novation Launchpad mini btw).
