script to move standard looper into audio 1, clip 1 via midi

in Ableton 11, I'm live looping and using the standard looper to set the tempo. I'm doing this via a foot controller.

it's possible to manually drag the loop out of the looper and into audio strip1, clip 1, then clear the looper.

how could I do this via a script or some kind of automation? I press the foot controller, and it automates the steps to move and clear?
