I've downloaded that ...but what do i do with the folder/files? I don't see an .exe to run the monomulator or anything. :(

If you have launched Monomulator you must have found the .exe to run it. maybe you meant something else?

hey i like what youve got going on in the video. As a drummer trying to sync up with live, im interested in how you got the lights to scan in time to the beat/clock /metronome. is that a built in feature of the padkontrol or was that part of your monome hack? having a visual time reference like ...

hmm ok i got them working...but they don't "match" the 8 boxes in Live.

like if my Pad number 1 on my pK is set for C4, then the corresponding box in ableton (the top left one) doesn't control the velocity for that same thing.

With Impluse, how do i use the pad kontrol? I have tried loading the scene that comes with the package (I believe there's Live [which is CC] and Live Simpler [which is G#3 - B4]).

I am wondering though, first, i'll need a pre-amp, yes?

Second, can i add effects to the guitar, like pedals would do? or do i actually need the pedals and have them all "linked'' to the guitar, and then into the pre-amp?
