I See it the same as @Erdbenutzer, less as colors, but more than a way of sorting things nicely... in my eyes it would make sense to be able to customize more groups than the existing color tags offer

I wish Ableton would make this feature happen. This would be a massive help with most midi controllers with displays and would also bring clarity into the automation lane view.

Thats a thing I wish it would be integrated in future updates. Most of the Developers got cryptic labeling like "OSC1ENVxyz..." which is sometimes hard to identify when certain midi controllers only got a limited number of figures to display ("OSC1E", which makes it harder to see right away what ...
