Help to edit number of bars shown in arrangement view
I feel stupid for asking this question but as a relatively new user to ableton it's driving me mad.
I decided to completely change and shorten my track arrangement - however in the arrangement view the number of bars still goes all the way to 250 even though there are no clips in the last 200 bars ...

Help figuring out delay
Hello all, happy saturday
One of my favourite effects in progressive house style music is the use of delay on plucked chords, and I'm just getting my head into how to recreate this
I've had some success, however I struggle sometimes to know when I'm hearing delay or the note simply replayed - in ...

Re: Is this reverb or some other effect?
For the pulsing part of it, sidechain is one possible option. others are amp or filter modulation in one way or another. This can be done in a lot of ways:
-Can be done within the synth using LFO’s
-Can be down with amp effects devices and plugins (in fact, I’m sure you can find a video using ...

Re: Is this reverb or some other effect?
Thanks for this.
So my working assumption is long sawtooth pad with shimmer effect and quite heavy sidechain?
By the way I found this random video where he is creating a similar effect albeit different sounds. Using the mod wheel quite heavily in mainstage/logic, although I don't use these tools so ...

Re: Is this reverb or some other effect?
Oh sorry I tried to create a clip so it should start at the right place - if not, try about 1 min 49, but to be honest it's consistent throughout much of the track.
I think it's separate from the white noise but could be wrong

Re: Getting single notes from vocal loop to use as midi
Thanks so much - I only just saw this reply but will give this a go. I've still got my sample waiting to find a more appropriate use so this is helpful

Is this reverb or some other effect?
Hi - I realise this is a bit of a noob question but would really appreciate the input.
My question is simply what is the effect going on in this clip which sounds like a sort of surging echo in and out of the core progression?

Getting single notes from vocal loop to use as midi
I have a vocal loop that I really like, in the style of choral music, but when downloading the pack based on the sample which I liked I didn't realise it was part of a loop
I would like to be able to use the individual notes in the loop to create new melodies and progressions but am not really ...
