When I increase the velocity control for Stiffness I assume that the higher the key velocity the more Stiffness will be applied (velocity will have a greater affect on Stiffness). In Electric, the velocity control of the Hammer's "Stiffness" doesn't seem to work right. When I hover over the "Vel" control the info panel states:

"Controls how much the hammer's stiffness is influenced by the velocity of the incoming MIDI notes."

I never heard of this M4L device before. Just checked it out and holy crap...this looks amazing. Like...better than most of the devices that Live comes with.

I agree, it’s painful for sure. I too am waiting a long time for support to help me get a replacement Push 3S due to a faulty tempo encoder. Only thing you can do is be patient.


That is not the only thing you can do. You can speak out against the company, demand better service, even go so far ...

The only thing you can do is contact support again, we really can't help you with this issue here. If they closed the ticket, that usually means it's either preparing to ship or already has though, so I would just advise to be a little more patient. They aren't trying to rip you off :D

My guess is it's automatic gating or gain reduction used by the internal mic.

What that means is when the input sound level is low enough the gain on the mic will automatically be brought down.

I think it's worth noting that ARA support for things like Melodyne isn't just so it can be used to tighten up vocal tracks.
