a little tune featuring monotribe and ucreate

This was for the "monomania" sound contest, limited to two minutes. I'll post some more expansive demos soon. It is a really fun box.

Re: Technics Turntable Recommendations ?

If Dick Cheney were a turntable he would be a 1200 ... pragmatic, does it's job with aplumb, no fuss, to the degree that you can forget about it. The downside is that I have no idea what else is out there nor do I care. What I can say is, as a dude with a vast collection of rare funk 45s, I would we...

Re: Korg Monotribe

I love onboard speakers. I love little synths that vibrate in your hands when you crank them up, like my Yamaha CS0...

I have the porsche 250, partitioned with the outer half of the platen dedicated to Live. I really don't know anything about drives, haven't done benchmarks or anything...seems efficient, without fuss. I think it was slightly cheaper than the other LaCie 250. One single LED that changes color. Occasi...

Dirty, I love TV...there are few things I love more. It is friendly, warm, comforting. Don't deny it. Get one of those "iTalk" things and plug your TV into your ipod and make some instant wav files. You're gonna be watching the final "Friends" on thursday anyway, right? Grab that, tear it to shreds,...

I needed the other updates anyway, but it's a lot of harmless fun for $49. Very usable piano, B3, and rhodes, better than Reason's, FWIW. And the steel-string acoustic...fairly amazing...John Mayer used I think the nylon-stringed at the keynote. The steel is, for linear fingerpicking...very believab...

The free-for-all here has become a dreadful embarrassment, and has to stop.

Yes, it works for the Props---and it was an extra incentive for me to give them my money.

Well, in leu of someone else's more specific response, here is a Finnish site I love: http://www.deeprhythms.com/ David and Timo put together some pretty good stuff. I take advantage of my T1 at work and download their sets straight to my ipod...it's very addicting. But perhaps more importantly, the...

Sometimes I see things come up and think they look cool, but I've decided to just get them on with the real deal. My 7 yr. old son and 4 yr. old daughter find Live and the Powerbook to be perfectly intuitive. We have an Ozone and a Niche Automation Station. My son seems to be locked in a video game ...
