thanks guys..im going to take all your info on board and have a play around..

using a similar technique, im going to try and take every frequency under 100hz on a song, and route it as a mono..hoping I can figure it out before the end of today

i'm trying to send the audio from one channel, to multiple channels, so i can split the sound into seperate frequency, and process each one..

Maybe you can find a wrapper by FXpansion, but really sounds likr you're going after the most headache-inducing ways of making music possible :)

whys that? my theory would be trying to introduce audio units & RTAS, which are solely restricted to a mac or pro tools system, would broaden creativity ...

the only reason i asked was because i had my old logic instaltion disks under my bed, and just wanted to load up some of the plug ins for that extra option...didnt intend to spark a logic vs ableton war..

on a different note...RTAS..there's no funky little programme to make them work outside of Pro ...

what possessed the engineer to switch from a 44.1 to a 48 between the sound check and the show?

maybe they didnt even do a soundcheck?

check out beyerdynamics dt770's. you can score them new on ebay or amazon for around 200. great headphones and the low end sounds nice. they are closed ear canz, you didn't say what you were really looking for.

i second this..i've got a pair...the only downside is they are fairly quiet..great for ...

there's no need for an mpc if you've got Ableton..

look at Just Blaze..he's completlely ditched the MPC for ableton..

certain aspects of the mpc cannot be beaten, but there is alot more control over the sampled material with ableton (or any DAW)..

get a good clean signal from your record deck ...

i think we should try to free ourselves from the mastering ghost, at least when composing or mixing.
we should leave mastering to mastering engineer, we should work hard to acheive the best sounding mixdown, a nice balance beetween all frequencies, a nice stereo image and, as said above, some ...

Is it possible to use Logic Plug Ins within Ableton, on a PC?

If so, can someone let me know how? Is it a case of just dropping into the vst folder?
