i second this..i've got a pair...the only downside is they are fairly quiet..great for production, crap for djing.dango wrote:check out beyerdynamics dt770's. you can score them new on ebay or amazon for around 200. great headphones and the low end sounds nice. they are closed ear canz, you didn't say what you were really looking for.
I'm not a DJ but I'm plesantly surprised by the new sennheiser in-ear thingies, cost me about 50 euros.
Ok , never seen a DJ using in-ears but they sound great , huge bass , and most important of all they manage to block out 90% of the surrounding sound so you don't have to pump the volume ... I'm playing my music now at half the volume that I did before and it actually sounds better and I'm no longer scared of going deaf in 2 years.

good earbuds are a good investment for listening to music from ipods and stuff. definatly get a pair that block sound.
i got a pair of apex headphones that im decently impressed with. they were 45$CAD.
the sides are kinda breaking, but i dont really keep good care of them. it will be fixable anyways.
