Hello y'all.
Thinking my hard drive was about to go on the fritz I loaded Live 8.2.1 onto my LaCie 1.5 tb external drive.
Now none of my instruments and effects are accessible without the LaCie. I don't remember exactly how I did what. (drinkywinky?)
I can't use Time Machine because THAT external ...

I've read your response but am unable to remove plug-ins associated with Automap on my Mac. Thanks

I have v8.1.1 and am unable to access "show in finder" from the plug-in browser by right-clicking.

My situation is that I've been able to get rid of all au's and vst's except those associated with Automap.

For example: "CamelCrusher" is gone, but "CamelCrusher (Automap)" lives on.

I'm guessing the Uno upgrade is practically required and makes the vids obsolete. (Tho I'll never know for sure!)

I heard that one can use Sampler to create a choir with yer voice. And I can't find that thread tho I did read something about a Melodyne (from 2008). Help!

Never had a problem with LaCie. (Oops, I've done it now).

I, too, am at my wits end on this most basic of subjects.

I can map all the parameters I want but not sounds.

If you're talking to me the answer is I DON'T KNOW that either! I'm going to see if my new toys take me away from the traditional without becoming a full-on DJ. I'm definitely experimenting at this point. This could be translated as "I'm Lost'!
