Re: How to select multiple clips that are not next to each other?
It's hard to believe, but I'm afraid you are right. That is really disappointing. How can it be that this doesn't bother anyone else? I suppose the Ableton guys are using the software themselves and should be run into this problem long ago.

How to select multiple clips that are not next to each other?
I'd expect that you could select multiple clips that are not next to each other in the arrangement or session view by clicking with the mouse and holding the 'command' or 'shift' modifier (using Mac OS 12.7). This doesn't work, all clips that lie in between are selected, too. This is very annoying ...

Re: MPE in Live 12
Ah, thank you very much. I was looking in the wrong place apparently. It actually makes more sense to place it there.

Arrangement view: playhead jumps back randomly
When the arrangement is not playing and I click somewhere in the timeline ruler, the loudspeaker symbol is shown and the arrangement plays. Fine.
But often after a bar or so the playhead in arrangement view jumps back and plays the same section again.
I find this a bit annoying and I don't ...

Melodyne 5 plug-in is not backwards compatible
I'm really curious about Melodyne 5, but the plug-in 5 is not backwards compatible. The Melodyne 4 VST2 plug-in is removed with the Melodyne 5 VST3 installation, so any Ableton Live set that uses the VST2 melodyne plug-in will load with this plug-in disabled. This means you loose all your work ...

Re: hidden Forum?
Yes, I remember the forum getting a bit out of control, I didn't visit it for along time and I forgot about it. In the meantime it "disappeard"... :?
I don't see the forum link in the help menu, therefore I asked. Maybe it's missing in the German version of the Ableton website and you can see it ...

hidden Forum?
A quite silly question, but why is the forum "hidden"? I don't see a way to get here from https://www.ableton.com/de/.
For years I wondered why Ableton doesn't have a forum on their website, and today I used google to find it...

Re: Time for a new Laptop
Schenker W507 is very good. I bought that now because my Macbook pro from 2011 is dying, and I don't want to buy Apple any more.
You can customize a lot, depends on the money you want to spend.

Windows laptop as alternative to Macbook pro
My Macbook Pro (2011) is dying, and I wonder if I buy a windows laptop now, instead of the new Macbook pro. What would you recommend - a Dell XPS 15 or a XMG?
I want an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, 1000 GB SSD (or more), 32GB DDR4 RAM and a good GPU, because I may use the laptop for VJing, too.

improved snapshot morpher?
I'm looking for a max for live effect that can replace NI Kore's snapshot functionality and its snapshot morphing.
I tried the Covert Operators'snapshot morpher 2.0, but most of the time it does not save the snapshots, although the morphing works very well.
Are there any good alternatives?

The disk image cannot be mounted. I double-click on the .dmg or right-click + "open with diskimagemounter.app" - nothing happens!

PUSH repeat function needs note length parameter
I'd like to be able to set the note length of the repeated notes. When I use "repeat" with the TAL Bassline 101, the notes connect to one long note because Bassline needs a little space between the notes, otherwise you don't hear the attack.
