Bottomline: there appears to be an issue between Ableton white screen problem and display settings and higher refresh rates especially using USB-C thunderbolt connection in OS Catalina. Was at least for me (Mac Mini 2020, Catalina, 2xDell 2719 monitors ...

Same here - I'm on an ancient G3 400Mhz, but thanks to Live 4 I've actually been able to do more than with the old version due to dramatic inprovement in effiency.
With Crystal I tend to tweak settings until I get a sound I like and then record a sample of it, which I can then play with Live's own ...

Have also downloaded the latest Emagic updates to the EXSP24 and EVP73 but to no avail - just look at an AU and Live goes spastic. <Sigh>

Thanks Hyerstay!! Does anyone know about the Emagic Au soundediting plugins like Tape Delay, silvercompressor and whatnot? Now getting these to work in Live 4 would be a real treat... this'll keep me happy for some time though...

COMPATIBILITY WITH RECYCLE (REX) LOOPS! I would be happy if I could just bring them in and play them like all the other loops but if I could really push it I would also ask for a kind of DR. rex loop player with all the audio mangling facilities?? I know AMG are doing a VST one they call One/Solo ...

Problem: Adding Logic AU Instruments (ES1, EXSP24 any other..) to the Midi tracks for makes Live crash. This happens consistently every time. Live's own inbuilt instruments work fine.

The emagic instruments are part of Logic Audio version 6 ...
