very steep learning curve, but together with MIDI yoke and a controller or 2 you can do some nice stuff.

Down side is that AISO soundcard drivers aren't supported :-(

Not to sure about MIDI yoke i believe thats for windows.

I think it was Henke that said Ableton is wary of adding to much VJ-friendly features since then people will start begging for things like OpenGL support, free-frame support, native VJ effects, etc = bloat!!

I agree I think ableton should always stay an audio package but allow better ...
