I miss the edit button, but what I would really like to see is Ableton with it's own internal wave editor. I use Soundtrack Pro a lot and when working in a multitrack session, you can double click on a sample and it opens in a single-file wave editor. It also asks if you want to edit the original ...

So if Ableton has enough sales, best could be maybe, to split the line into a performance and into a studio product.
I completely agree with this statement. Make a Ableton DJ version and a Ableton Studio version. I am thinking now that Ableton has won the DAW award a few times, all they need are ...

Anyone know where I can get some extra presets for the Live effects (especially the Reverb)?

Solo Isolate.
Solo Isolate. This is especially important for aux returns and subgroups, which I use a lot.
Also:
A MIDI editor in a separate window (like Logic's Matrix Editor) would be nice (throw in a step input function too.)
The ability to hide tracks from view in the Mix window would be useful.

Live DJing with FireWire Solo
I need to get a mobile interface for my notebook PC. I need something that's good for recording and DJing. The M-Audio Firewire Solo looks great for recording, but how is it for DJing? I would use the 1/4" line outputs for the master out of course. But can the headphone output be set for the cue in ...

Thanks for the input guys. I can relate to robb's gripe. Ideally, I'd like to have one track as smaller files saved into a live "track file" with the follow actions and such saved. That way, I could just drag the track file into my set and be ready to rock. The more tedious stuff I can get out of ...
