Re: Snow Leopard problems already...
I am having massive issues with Live 7 in Snow Leopard. App is now pretty much unusable, I can load a set and listen, any edits will result in major crash. Damn my OS upgrade haste.

The Mr. Ray 73 is awesome, and free.
Also the Mr Tramp is a REAL nice wurlitzer.

How do I make the MPD24 touch sensitive with the Drum Rack??
I bought an Akai MPD24 a while ago and ever since purchasing I haven't been able to get the 'touch sensitivity' working with the drum rack in Ableton 7.0.
I have played with numerous settings, and read the manuals, but can't seem to figure this one out.
I'm sure there's an easy fix.. Please help ...

Fades Please.
Not sure if someone has mentioned this yet (most likely have)
I really want fades implemented like in Pro Tools.. Nothing worse than having tiny clicks after snipping clips. This function would also open up Ableton for more video post jobs.
Cheers.

PSP Vintage Warmer 2.0 causing huge latency.
Hey team,
Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with PSP's Vintage Warmer causing latency? I have regularly used Vintage Warmer for pretty much ever but since moving up to ver. 2.0 I have had nothing but trouble. I am getting huge amounts of latency when adding it to any channel.

Best Control Surface?
Hi people,
I'm guessing this may have been discussed before in the forums, but I couldn't seem to dig it up in the search.
Can anyone recommend a good control surface for working with Ableton in the studio? i.e. less oriented towards live performance and DJing?

Re: MIDI routing question
I'm pretty sure you can setup your PC and Mac to talk to each other, are you using a crossover cable as opposed to a normal ethernet cable?8O wrote:Hi,
So I got no joy trying to sync a mac to a pc via ethernet, so I've given up and will do it by buying a usb-midi cable for the PC.

Totally agree with your itunes comment, it's the worst.
For PC use CDex - very simple, solid and easy to use:

For Mac I too use Max - very similar to CDex
