What is the advantages of doing this as opposed to just using automating the send dial as and when you want that track to go to the send. I am playing around with it at the moment. A nice track. Nice sound you have managed to create a good combination with your new approach. I listened to your other tracks on your page too. Doesn't sound like you've over complicated your work. Lifeforce is a lovely track but I think Clear Day is the best track you have up.

I was talking about the solution being obvious for Ableton.
That it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.
Obviously this has still not been implemented.

The solution is so obvious.. Its doing my head in.

- Right-click on a vst and select "show parameter list"

- It will show a list of ALL the parameters in the browser. (just like MIDI assignments)

- You can rearrange the order of the parameters. Move the ones you wish to automate to the top ...

Different encoders can work differently. One big difference is that not all encoders support VBR (variable bitrate), which allows for a nice compromise between sound quality and file size. Many encoders also implement bandpass filters to remove noise artifacts.

I then chopped them up in ableton a little and then added Izotope Ozone 3 in which I put reverb, delay which is in the multiband exciter. I added Talio Equim then to finish it off Ableton's own Compressor 2 ...

On some plugin instruments(For example FM8) I can press the arrow and all the LFO, filter, delay etc (which can be linked to my controller and automated) pop up in the bottom panel. Which is great. However with some instruments like Albino and Atmosphere I can't do this or even automate it on ...
