This might sound strange, but I'm looking for Ableton Live Lite 3.

Maybe anyone has it lying around with some old M-Audio keyboard or in an old stack of CDs...?

Note that I'm not interested in the later versions, only version 3 please.

Today I tried to use this plugin two times and most of the times when i try to move the "Output gain" fader, my whole system freezes. The music keeps playing but my cursor gets stuck and I can't do nothing but press the power off button on my computer.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Is it possible to hide all .als files in the windows explorer? I mean that even if Live creates new .als files they aren't visible? The .asd files are nice and I need them (so I can't turn them off in Live), but they make browsing folders very murky.

Another VERY VERY useful feature about ASIO4all: You can use two soundcards at once!

I use my Echo Indigo as main output, record my voice through the laptop's internal Microphone AND use the laptop's internal soundcard for pre-listening.

I don't seperate OneShots from loops. When I listen to records looking for samples, I try to keep everything loopable.
I'd add silence after oneshots so you can treat them as loops.

It's the same in Live 3.

That might be the first serious reason for me to get Live 4...

I often bind several clips to keys (kick, snare, hat), press record with metronome turned on and just press the keys in time to record the drums. But most of the time I'm hardly in time, and I'd need to quantize.

I think Live doesn't need to interpret whether I'm late by accident or by purpose.

If the quantization of a clip is set to "Bar" and you hit the clip 20 ms after the beginning of a bar, it's not by purpose.
