What is the difference between using MME/directX vs. using ASIO? I can select all of my ins and outs for my soundcard under ASIO, and not MME. Is there a technical difference? I am using a hammerfall DSP Multiface II, running winxp. Any info would be appreciated.

When I try to record automation using the access virus and virus control with ableton, it seems only a few parameters will map. Cutoff automation will record, but it seems any kind of attack or release changes will not. Does ableton live not record all parameters? Or is it on the virus? I am running ...

I have had this problem as well. I found that setting the delay of any other instruments I was using forward lined everything back up.
