Re: Programmable Arpeggiator - DONE

Hi Mark,

thanks for your post. I really like the way you showed how to get more out of live's arpeggio. I was also looking for a programmable arpeggio, without being dependent on presets that synths deliver.

I also use delay and the live's recently added vocoder for some nice funky effects ...

Re: Plugins that don't work so well in 8...

Just tried that..... doesn't work here :(

maybe all your LEGACY files need to be in the vst folder directly, and not in it's own folder inside your vst folder?
that's what i would try to do next.

I have the same problem with my KORG M1 synth. It will not appear in my pugin folder in Live8. It ...

delay on a bus channel, eq, redux followed by a filter grouped, dfx bufferoverride.
DFX offers great effects. How do you use the bufferoverride? One thing that sounds cool is the vocoder-effect kind of thing, but I think bufferoverride is easily overused, since it's effect is so enormous, in good ...

I took a quick glance, but my first impression is that these effects really rock. Indeed super luper is very strong. I have to experiment some more, but i.m def gonna use them...the single knob concept is really ...

Which effects do you use when DJ-ing with Live?

Hi guys,

Since a lot of you are DJ-ing/producing with Live, including myself,

I was wondering:
- which effects do you use in your Live setup?
- which parameter(s) of the effect you use, you setup to trigger via your controller. (IMHO it's very important to tweak the right parameter since too much ...

Hi Witlof,

do you use more than one instance of Analog?
We recently received user reports, that under certain circumstances, multiple instances of Analog can indeed lead to random dropouts.
We are looking into this issue.

Best,

Jörg
I use
two tracks with drum rack

CPU peaks in live 7.0.7 when using Analog

no, not using Analog.

I asked because there are random dropouts when using multiple instances of Analog.

I have got the same problem in Live 7.0.7 when using Analog. I get drop outs and cpu peaks (till 70%, while normal level is under 16%), which can not be explained by an enormous amount of ...

This solves the problem indeed. It seems that the recent update from Airport causes CPU peaks.
I've turned it off and problem solved.

Thanks for the help

All the best

latency problem in my set up: who is the blame?

Hi there,

When I use 8 channels in Ableton Live 7.0.3 with on each track an instrument e.g. Analog, Drum Rack or Sampler with some effects e.g. Pingpong delay, beat-repeat, reverb, etc. I get cracks in my sound and the beat is out of sync compared to turntables/CD-players .

My first idea was the ...
