In Live 8 if you picked a drumrack/drumkit from the factory content they had macros already assigned to various controls.
In Live 9, none of the drumracks have any controls mapped to macros as default, I would have to go in and manually assign for instance if I want the start time for each sample ...

Yes, very odd.
Customer engagement/community should be embraced, not hidden.
Bring it back to the public, for people who are new to live, they may just never know about the user community.
I have used the forums for nearly 10 years and it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to find it!

I have the Glass instrumente.... Got some interesting sounds out of it, but the longer I had it, the more I regretted purchasing. Too pricy for soo many similar sounds. Maybe a better deal now with the bundle.
Have you heard of Soniccouture Glassworks? You may be interested in checking it out ...

I work with a Ugandan organization called Hope North (hopenorth.org) which provides housing, food, education and healing to former child soldiers and orphans. Here is a 20 minute film about the school, it features an original score by Ad-Rock from the Beastie Boys (bringing it back to the ableton ...

yes, sketchy not to include what instruments in patches/presets.
Especially if it doesn't include harp: even though it sound like there is one in one of the demo songs?

Damnit I wish I'd seen this on Kickstarter!
My guess is they're not taking any more pre-orders at $200

Just saw these question on GearSlutz from a user, think they are interesting:
So have the missing features Live users have wanted for years; 64 bit , multiple screen support, multi track edit etc. not been implemented by Ableton because their coders left? Did they leave because the boss refused ...
