I just bought 8 and was using 6 which worked fine, now I'm running 8.1.1 and it's slow as all hell I CAN'T USE THIS PROGRAM ANYMORE my cpu is going into 50% with 4-5 simple tracks playing.
Serious waste of money now thank god I didn't uninstall 6...

I want to be able to play my external synths which don't have built in arpeggiators, using live's arpeggiator.
