Using external synths with Live's arpeggiator?

Using external synths with Live's arpeggiator?

I want to be able to play my external synths which don't have built in arpeggiators, using live's arpeggiator. But by the time i send out midi into the synth, then the audio of the synth back into live it is super duper latent. Which is fine when I'm recording because I can tweak the sample, but I would love to do this in a live set.

Is there any way to make this possible so the arpeggiated synth is in sync with Live?

lower your audio latency by using a faster sampling rate and make sure you have the latest drivers. if you're on PC try ASIO4ALL.
