The only issues I still have are the transpose bug affecting clips following the transposed one, complex pro crashing Live, and dragging other set clips from the browser crashing Live and/or giving the not enough memory message now. No pops and clicks, latency or crashing using my VST's anymore. But ...

I'm nervous to even say it out loud, but I think 8.0.4 is finally stable (at least for me here). Also rendering seems to be quicker as well.

I forgot about this. I actually had to just start over. Probably not the news you wanted to hear VC, but I think that's most likely going to be your best option. Back up the undo.cfg file just in case and perhaps you can restore it with an updated version of Live in the future. Best of luck!

Ableton suggests to avoid the .als size getting too large by consolidating clips, but the problem I have found is that consolidating changes the sound of the audio by shifting the clips back in time just slightly - enough to noticeably change the sound. I have this problem too with Operator. It usually only happens if I have modulated the pitch wheel while playing on the midi keyboard or if the pitch bend envelope has automation somewhere. When playing new notes they will be randomly transposed but eventually return to normal by playing the midi ...

So I found a semi-solution: if I do not route each hi hat track to the bus, then the hi hats render as they should. But can anyone tell me why in the world if they are routed to the bus it does not render? I have the claps routed the exact same way and they come out just fine.

As you can see 2 layers of hi hat sounds route to the HH bus. It all plays perfect in Live 8 but as soon as I render it only the very first HH will play and the rest are barely audible.

Actually listening to a rendered snip again the very first hi hat will play but the rest do not. Oh and I'm using audio samples, not midi.
