reaktor and guitar rig are the ones that eat up the most cpu of all the vst's I use. I just thought of something else, do all macs come with those apple audio plugins? I use the matrix reverb and the AUpitch all the time. If not I guess I could take the actual files from the folder on my imac and p...

the only thing is leopard. I'm on tiger now and I just love it. I remember hearing about so many problems with leopard I don't want to deal with and I like how everything is just simple with tiger right now. the craigslist sale comes with tiger.

I have a 20" 2.16ghz intel imac from '06 and have absolutely no problems with it running ableton with vst's and everything else, and iMovie. I'm pretty much minimal when it comes to resources. Someone is sellng a macbook pro o...

monday a friend who is a choreographer came to our studio and asked me to make some music for a dance piece, but quick, and now, and dirty. So I had her dancing there and improvised: http://soundcloud.com/institutfatima/4-minutes-45-instead-of-anne-clark http://soundcloud.com/institutfatima/felicit...

Will a monetary based society be required to build this? yes but it will eventually eat itself no? obviously everything is gradual. the fact that it will requre our monetary system to build this doesn't pose any contradiction. in what other way would it be built? money will be used to take money ou...

the aforementioned unnecessary metaphysical conclusion offered in the first zeitgeist is exactly what bothered me about it too, but it was interesting to know about the fed and all. the discussion about the fact that it's bad to strive for a utopia is i think unapplicable since the venus project see...

I have fallen back on these notions that human beings are ineviteably tenacious, competitive, self interested, and i still do. This is an interesting observation. I used to be fully into this point of view my self until i read this great book, so great in fact that i can't remember what it was call...

this is very interesting. I didn't like the first one but here is a pretty spot on summary of the contemporary intellectual collective unconscious. It's not idealistic, it seems to now be a matter of survival. I have fallen back on these notions that human beings are ineviteably tenacious, competiti...
