it NEEDS to happen. it's an easy addition and the ruler (again) makes the DAW seem amateur/it was a 2nd thought or 5th for that matter.

Most other DAWs seem to take the idea of a visual time clock seriously and address it with a clock/and bar counter etc. this is obviously not a priority for Ableton. A time ruler simply doesn't cut it lads. I want to be an exclusive Ableton user, but I have to use either Logic or PT for the ease re ...

One can record fine into Ableton via Amplitube. Dare to move the region or do anything of the sort w. Amplitube plug-in still initiated

Like PT or other DAWs... Instead of delineating time via counting bars, is there a clock available, for mins, secs etc?

I also heard something about customizing the APCs functions... have you experimented with that at all?

I'm considering purchasing the APC40. I'm wondering--every vid that I see has the apc working w/Session view. What about in arrange veiw...how well does it work?

I've read reports that this pc. of hardware really doesn't take Ableton into the world of have a "real" DAW worksurface.

I'm using a G5 dual core/2G RAM w/ a Digi 002. I 'm trying to do a simple play along to pre-recorded audio. My Driver Error Comp is at 20.0. I've experimented with the bufferr as low as 64. Sample rate is 44.1. I still feel like it's a little behind (my new recording)
