I had to use DP for a year and had to learn it, and absolutely hated it. it's hands down the worst program I've ever used for audio. hate to be so hard but man, that was bad.

You think i would warm up to it after year, but nope.

I've heard a lot of people saying they use live with cubase and I've heard a few with logic. My main issue is stability-- I have a macbook pro so it can handle a decent amount, but I also have audio dropouts with logic once in a while and am considering moving over to cubase.

haha yeah its still midi info though, so do i need to set the channels so ableton isnt confused or what? or does it automatically set your device?

make a separate track for the oneshotter then click

File > Render to disk

choose the drop second option is "Render Track" choose the track you want to export.

and tada, single track is rendered.

I've been using a WD Mybook for some time now and extensively moving it around, and no problems thus far.

its set in 8th to a beat like 6/8 should be so its broken up like this, i just tried it.
6/8 means theres 6 notes in a measure and 8 or 8th note gets the beat.

so for example:
