Maybe theres a workaround building a max device which can filter out midi controllers/devices per track.

Heres a very simple patch to get the devices in m4l and compare, just as a startingpoint. Bang is sent if the selection matches, triggered by selecting a device in umenu 1.

Simply load in Drift, put in Mono mode. Spazz the keys about. It should be fine.
Now Click the Oscillator Retrigger button to sync the oscillators. Spazz the keys again and see what happens

Yes, same here. It's a bug.

put a time synced delay / echo in repitch mode on a return track. when the delay fx is turned on - turn off the track which sends the audio or just quickly turn up/down the send knob of the track then mute the audio track if you like it to fade out via delay, like on a real mixing desk. play around ...

Can you share some of the faulty presets for testing?

the 4i4 already have din midi, so why not just connect it to the S950?

Thats not possible by now. Also M4L cannot filter by midi input devices, it uses the midi input setting from the midi track.

there are a bunch of bigger content/pack updates available with the newest Live version but no changelog or other type of detailed info of whats new or updated. How i can find the update info?

You can put each Simpler in a seperate instrument rack and map detune to one macro. Map all these rack macros to one macro in the main instrument rack, now you can setup a range for each detune control. This is not the best solution, the best will be a detune device in M4L.

Just use one audio or midi track for each loop during editing, then resample the result to a new track for a one-file loop. You also can group more tracks and let the single tracks open for later changes. The audio tracks have fades as an option for the arrangement, just check this out too. The Live ...

is it possible to manage Slice markers using M4L? I just checked the available Simpler parameters but cannot find any option for this.

Win 10 have some issues with scaling on 4k displays. Try to disable systemwide scaling, reset it to 100% and try to use the Zoom option of Live instead. The next big Win10 update should fix such issues.

Set midi monitoring to IN for the midi channels or press STRG/CTRL+Arm and press the ARM button on the channels you want to record / activate midi-input. Make sure ou have selected the correct midi input device for each channel.

As always, check the Live manual. It explains it very nicely.
