Here is the problem :
i have a rack with many simplers in many chains. I select one of them at a time with the chain selector. They all have different detunes settings, so they are all in the same tune.
Now i want a global 'detune' knob. Seems impossible to me, because you can map detune greater than +50 or less than -50.
Any idea ?
How to detune many racked simplers ?

maybe a pitch shifter ? 2 octave up and down. reasonably cpu intensive if in stereo at high fft. but works well....

Thanks, but this is a bit too much, too cpu intensive, and changing the sound too much as well.
I 'd wish for a more elegant solution.

You can put each Simpler in a seperate instrument rack and map detune to one macro. Map all these rack macros to one macro in the main instrument rack, now you can setup a range for each detune control. This is not the best solution, the best will be a detune device in M4L.

Thanks wehkah.
But as i stated, the detune cannot go beyond the +/- 50 ct limits. That's precisely the problem. Your example doesn't put the two simplers in the same tune, by the way.
