The fact that Live doesn't send MIDI to host sequencer in Rewire mode is a huge drawback. If audio can be sent why not MIDI? Also, in rewire mode Live doesn't operate any VSTi so what's the point in sending MIDI to Live?

I really look forward for this capability in Live 8!
