Me and my friend went in on ableton and split the costs, we've had it some over a year now, a few months ago i upgraded to a mac book pro, so re installed ableton on my new computer.

Novation Remot Sl 25 bank setup

Hi all, i'm having some issues with a very very simple concept

I have a Remote SL 25 Midi controller, I'm useing Ableton. and here is my situation.

I have 16 audio tracks loaded in ableton, i have 8 channels on my novation remote.
i have those channels hooked up to the first 8 audio tracks ...

i do have one funk with mac though....

they are the only ones to copywrite and make a profit from a Linux based os.. you can not update or better the kernels that it is using through Linux..

though on my mac book pro i can simultaneously run window and mac.. or Ubuntu and OSX (using leopard ...

Hahaha ohh goodness.. just do it

this is how i look at mac vrs pc

you pic up any pc. hold in your hands(laptop) and gentley twist the actual computer, you can hear and feel all of the parts chrunch and move and creek around..

you do the same with a mac.. and its solid.. no loose spindly ...
