Re: File's bpm different in clip browser than when in song
Hey Thanks! That worked Great.
The only thing is the clip plays instantly when the layer is selected it's not blinking and waiting like the rest.
How do I change that?
Thanks,
Dan

File's bpm different in clip browser than when in song
OK this is something that is probably simple but I'm stuck. I've been recording beats from stylus as wav files at 120 bpm in a simple live file.
I'll launch an editor to save and rename the file. Then when I open a 120 bpm song file that I've been working on I just drag the clip in from the clip ...

Multiple song volume fix
Hi,
I perform live with an APC40 and have created 3 sets of about 10 songs each. Because some songs have stronger Dynamics than others I find that when I am performing I'm constantly tweaking my volumes to compensate for the softer passages or louder passages. Can anyone suggest perhaps something I ...

Re: Compressor for live performance?
Use the GAIN fader in the clip view to equal the level of all the songs.
Each song may have up to 20 clips spread over 8 channels sometimes 10 layers deep. I'm looking for a solution not so much at the clip level since I've made adjustments there already. I'm looking for a sort of ...

Compressor for live performance?
I played my first gig last night using my apc40 in a big boomy martini bar. I did 3 sets using 3 different live files that had 10 songs all in wav files per set. Like everything else in life in a controlled environment like my home studio the sets sound great. One comment I heard was that there ...

Re: Cross fading scenes in Live?
One other note...
The songs in the file have different bpm. I tried setting up a couple of tracks to transition. the last scene of song A I captured in track 9 as a loop and set the cross fader to A and had launch scen bpm at 96 like that of song A. The first scene of song B I recorded to track 10 ...

Cross fading scenes in Live?
Is it possible to cross fade scenes in live? I have a live set that I built that contains 10 songs so I can load up a whole hours worth of music. The problem is I have yet to figure out how to make a nice cross fade transition between the different songs. I'll have 8 tracks playing and all I can do ...

Re: Moving wav flies from Live to Nuendo
How would I do what you call bounce stems? I have 8 tracks of audio I captured in arrangement view that I want to bring into nuendo. How do I bring all of the little pieces into nuendo perfectly lined up like they are in my arrangement view?
Thanks
Thanks

Moving wav flies from Live to Nuendo
Hi,
I remember seeing somewhere but I'm not sure where that there is a way to export my wav files from Live into nuenndo.
I think this is possible and it seemed pretty simple.
Any suggestions

Re: Bit Rate Debate
Thanks everyone for your input. I think I may just leave things at 24 for my live performance files and re-record at 32 the ones I select for my CD just to ease my mind that I got the best I could get. My favorite response was from hurlingdervish.

Bit Rate Debate
I have about 30 or so songs created in Live that I painstakingly converted all midi files to wav files so I could build 3 sets with 10 songs each and perform with an apc40. The reason for the conversion was performance based since a lot of the midi files were created using several different vst plug ...

Is there a Detroit area Ableton Live user group?
It would be nice to see how others use this program.
Thanks
Dan
