get an 80's/90's digital synth. ie, DX7, CZ1 . alot of the sound from that era were digital. but still had there own fuzzy colour. that omputers are too clean for.

you can achieve a granular type of timestretch using sampler.

yeh it works sweet, turn both metronomes on and adjust the offset in the master ableton maachines midi clock prefs, so its locked tight. u can use wifi, but ethernet will be more reliable.

are you using the groove amount in live? also each clip has a groove setting. When i made house beats i always used the mpc. set the swing to 63% and shift the hats a few ticks early, and its gave it that mad sloshey feel.
