Yeah, I tried djgroovy's suggestion and things seem to be much better. I haven't been able to test fully - I have to work - but it felt better.

One more thing I noticed was that the midi indicator (top right of screen) showed the incoming midi without latency. In time with what was playing on the Remote SL.

But, the input selector on the track that contained the instrument I was playing showed midi WITH the extra latency. I heard the synth ...

I noticed this problem as soon as I installed Live 7.0.1 - was trying out the new instruments and gave up after a while.

Having looked at the posts on the forum I guessed it was something to do with my Remote 37SL but that's obviously not the case.
