oh I had already done that, but Oxygen was still dead. Only resetting it worked.

Presonus Audiobox problems. Anyone using that?

Hello. I just got PreSonus AudioBox (USB audio interface) and I'm using it with a Shure Mic and Ableton Live in my MacPro (OS 10.4.11). Alright at the beginning, no latency correction needed, all perfect. But after a few recordings (meaning minutes):

Hey, many thanks for the quick reply. I did something else: I reset the Oxygen to factory settings and it came back to normal life.

In the top right corner of the screen there are 2 buttons. key, and midi. the 'key' button allows you to assign lives knobs etc to you computers keyboard. The midi key allows you to assign things to your midi instrument.

In operation, you start by hitting '1', then stop by hitting '1' again. if instead you'd wanted to continue on track 2, you'd have hit '1' and '2' together. not quite as smart, and no automixdown cleanup goodies on ch8, but not bad for an ableton only solution. Download it here if you like

Complete beginner in this, so here's it: I record whatever sounds, let's say Tom Designer drums with my midi keyboard. It sounds normal when I trigger the notes and also when i record the test jamming. But then, as soon as I play the recorded result, it sounds different: dark, low, dry, completely ...
